Administrative and financial management

Technical, administrative and financial coordination of the project is provided by the Conservatory of natural areas in Franche-Comté. It will coordinate between 5 associated beneficiaries.

Two instances will ensure the overall coordination and monitoring of the program:

  • the technical and financial monitoring committee, involving all the beneficiaries and some local technical operators depending on the subjects, to take stock of the progress of actions, the progress of expenditure and applications for funding, to prepare annual programming etc.
  • the steering committee, organized and hosted by the coordinating beneficiary. It will be composed of members of the Technical Committee, funders, local authorities and local players. Its mission is to ensure overall consistency, periodic monitoring of the project and action planning.

Communication

The objective is to ensure visibility of the project in the local, national and European area. It aims to widely disseminate information to different audiences (institutional, local, peatland managers, general public, tourists) about the existence of this Life, the actions taken and their results and the methodology work. It aims to also widely disseminate the involvement of the different partners.

Apart from this website, several tools are thus used in the program.

Some actions will also aims to disseminate the knowledge gained and the results of restoration actions implemented under the program. It will allow each beneficiary of the program to transmit best practices validated during the program term and increase management efficiency on other peatland sites with the same issues, at the regional, national or even European level. The action of Peatlands Pôle-Relais participate in this dissemination.
